  11. Learning about the mechanics of style.
  12. Trying new approaches to writing.
  13. There was never a dull moment.

What did you dislike most about this instructor and course?

  1. NA
  2. The parts of the course dealing with syntax.
  3. His condesending tone & affinity for conflict.
  4. I miss writing, writing. The projects were cool, but it feels more like graphic design, especially with the last project.
  5. The poster that we are working on is pointless. A lot of overwhelming "projects."
  6. Some of the project prompts are hard to understand.
  7. -
  8. NA
  9. I disliked the amount of reading expected to get done in such a short period of time.
  10. His attendance policy--I understand that it has to be enforced, but marking an A student down to a D because of attendance is steep.
  11. The course rotates too strictly around the text.
  12. The rigidness of the second project.
  13. He was very condescending & talked down to us often.
  14. I wish there was more journal or free writing to help me focus on each project. Feel more disciplined if we spent more time working on papers in class.

  3. The way this professor handles disagreements with students is often inappropriate and abrasive. Spending five minutes berating a student in front of the entire class is not a professional way to handle disagreements.
  4. I think overall you are a great professor. You're class is interesting and you're pretty nice.
